The Hamilton based indie rock band, The Bandicoots, is made up of Nicolai Kozel, Andrew Parkinson, Lorant Polya, and Justin Ross.
“Just After Dark” is the first single off their upcoming EP. The Bandicoots have a great garagy-indie rock sound that reminds me a little of early Arctic Monkeys. This is a great track and I’m looking forward to hearing the rest of the EP when it comes out.

The video revolves around shadows, using a set that was created from cardboard, lamps and a bed-sheet. It also features cigarettes, brassieres, guns (!), cats, and eventually our faces (Everything you’d find at a cheap strip club).  The idea came to us while swimming at the cottage when we saw Nick’s shadow – which is ironic considering he was born on Groundhog Day.
