Kick your holiday party up a notch with some great music chosen by Tyler Kyte of Dwayne Gretzky. No more Chimpmunks or Jingle Cats for you – it’s time we all admit to each other that novelty holiday music is straight up bad. You know what’s great? Holiday classics. The true classics are a great way to inject some class and warmth into any holiday occasion. Plenty of booze and low lighting are also very helpful.

Not only are Dwayne Gretzky great at picking holiday songs they’ve recorded their very own Christmas song this year. “Will You Merry Me Christmas?” fits in so well with the classics we have in this playlist and will be at home at any holiday gathering.

See Dwayne Gretzky live in the GTA shows during the holidays:
December 8 – Hamilton – This Ain’t Hollywood
December 15 – Toronto – The Great Hall Toronto
December 31 – Toronto – The Danforth Music Hall

In the playlist above:
It’s The Most Wonderful Time Of The Year – Andy Williams
It’s Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas – Perry Como
Christmas Song – Nat King Cole

Christmas (Baby Please Come Home) – Darlene Love
White Christmas – The Drifters
The Village Of St. Bernadette – Andy Williams
The Twelve Days Of Christmas – Bob and Doug McKenzie
Blue Christmas – Elvis Presley
Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas – The Carpenters

Dwayne Gretzky is everyone’s favourite supergroup loosely named after a hockey legend. The core of the band centres around Toronto’s top musicians, and the A+ list line-up includes members of July Talk, Born Ruffians, and others playing all of your dad’s favourite songs. They are incredible live and are band you will want to see again and again.
