From uptown Toronto to downtown Hamilton (and a stop in-between), Louis C.K. begins with a relatable quote to introduce the scene. Kevin Smith’s Clerks are on the mind – not necessarily the b&w film or the storefront loiterers – as each location are actual haunts of the cast and extended fam. Where the previous video concludes with Mo’ Betta Denzel dialogue, the current trial culminates with a Spike Lee dolly shot to illustrate a desperate moment of clarity.

With so many songs on the radio about that shining moment where you meet someone for the first time and dramatic break-ups, I thought it would be interesting to write one about the minutiae of a relationship a couple of years in. (Kobi)
